
ABOUT DAVID MAGRANÉ
David Magrané is a Catalan conductor, composer, and arranger. He studied Conducting with Salvador Mas and Composition with Carles Guinovart at the Conservatori Superior Municipal de Música de Barcelona, graduating in 1993. Since his first public performance in 1984, he has conducted numerous orchestras in major concert venues across Spain, including the Palau de la Música Catalana and the Auditori Nacional de Catalunya, as well as in France, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Andorra.
Alongside his conducting career, he has developed an extensive catalogue of original compositions, orchestral arrangements and chamber works, combining a distinctive personal language with a deep knowledge of orchestral writing. He is currently Music Director of the Symphony Orchestra and Concert Band of the Conservatory of Sabadell, and founder of MAGRANE MUSIC LIBRARY (MML), a professional catalogue of original compositions and complete arrangements.
